    Share post:

    Stockholm (NordSIP) – Moxie Future, the Hong Kong-based company dedicated to the empowerment of women investors and sustainable investment, has launched a Responsible Investment Platform for Women (May 31).

    The platform will provide information, analysis, practical solutions, opportunities to network among the like-minded, and research-based insight to help women investors have a positive impact “while growing their wealth according to their values.”

    In short, the purpose of the platform is to create a community “of empowered women who want to make a difference” by sharing insights enabling women to align investment decisions with values and beliefs and applying dynamic solutions and technological strategies to help women deploy their wealth more efficiently, according to a press release announcing the launch. Moxie Future’s community will guide women in how to invest in “promising companies who prioritize responsible business practices such as embracing renewable energy, ensuring good labor conditions and promoting gender equality.”

    “I am frustrated by the way the investment industry is structured for regular investors – in particular, the lack of information, products and tools for those who are concerned about the environmental and social impact of their investments,” said Moxie Future founder Jessica Robinson. “For women this problem is even more pronounced. The financial services industry simply does not address the needs of many women investors, let alone those who want their investments to have a positive impact on the world. This urgently needs to change.”

    As previously reported by NordSIP, Moxie Future has been undertaking soon-to-be published research that shows that:

    • 79% of women surveyed feel urgent action is needed in order to build a better world for our children;
    • 69% of women consider it important that their investment and savings decisions reflect their personal values and philosophies.

    With women becoming more affluent and economically significant (women now control 30% of the world’s wealth, according to a study by bcg.perspectives), it follows that they are also becoming increasingly concerned about the social and environmental impact of their investments.

    “We are creating a new dynamic where investing is not just about higher returns, but where women are provided with the necessary support to become active and engaged responsible investors,” said Ms. Robinson. “Through harnessing the power of wealth-creating women to champion a new way of investing that does not compromise on values, we can become an unstoppable force. I genuinely believe this and the purpose of the Moxie Future community is to help point the way forward for women investors.”

    Ms. Robinson directs interested parties to Moxie Future’s new video: “Don’t Just Invest. Create A Better World” and to visit Moxie Future’s website for an introduction in how to kick off responsible investing.

    Stay tuned to NordSIP for further details about the results of Moxie Future’s soon-to-be published research.
