Green Star for SPP Real Estate Manager

Stockholm (NordSIP) – Today (September 12), GRESB, a global organisation related to real asset investments, awarded five stars and its highest grade “Green Star 2017” ranking to the real estate holding company SPP Fastigheter and its management company Storebrand Fastigheter, which manages a total of SEK 12 billion (approx. € 1.2 billion) in real estate, infrastructure and forestry assets. For this year’s edition, 823 real estate companies and funds were evaluated by GRESB.

According to Henrik Svensson, the person responsible for sustainability at Storebrand Fastigheter, the goal of his organisation is to apply the same clear focus on sustainability at SPP Fastigheter as throughout the wider Storebrand group. Therefore, the managers have set a high priority on sustainability concerns during the deployment of the real estate portfolio. He is pleased with the validation from an external actor such as GRESB, which, he says, shows that his organisation is on the right path.
