Stockholm (NordSIP) – The Swedish real estate company Fastighets AB Balder announces that it has signed a loan agreement of €100 million with the European Investment Bank (EIB) for the development of two residential projects in Copenhagen with almost zero energy-building (NZEB) standards.

Balder is currently developing several housing projects in which it has set high environmental requirements targets. For Balder, energy consumption is a priority and all  housing projects in Sweden must meet the requirements to qualify for the “Silver” grade i Environmental Building ratings. “In Copenhagen we have chosen to go even further, and all homes will be upgraded according to the almost zero-energy-building (NZEB) standard,” says the company in the press release (in Swedish).
