#gamechangers

Stockholm (NordSIP) – As we recovered from the intense Sustainable Investment Forum Europe in Paris last week, we took some time to reflect on the “Game Changers” conference host Mike Tyrell asked us to think about throughout the day. We share some of the key learnings brought to Paris by Nordic experts which included AP2 CEO Eva Halvarsson, Alecta‘s Peter Lööw, NBIM‘s Wilhelm Mohn and former AP4 fixed income manager Ulf Erlandsson.

Also in Paris, Beyond Ratings, an alternative Credit Rating Agency focused on ESG has received accreditation from the ESMA. Their first ratings will target sovereign issuers. Still in France but also in the Netherlands, the central banks have set the train in motion and will certainly change the way other government’s central banks will look at sustainability.

Back in the Nordics, we met with Toni Iivonen, Head of Financing Solutions at Elite Alfred Berg in Finland, who talked about the exciting new Elite Indian Solar Fund, which goal is to invest in Solar power plants in India. Meanwhile, in Sweden, Kommuninvest successfully launched its fourth green bond.

Also this week, we met with Anders Langworth who launched “Bankers for Climate”, an initiative to drive change in the financial industry. He told us that he believes in the power of numbers to obtain comittment and accountability from top bank executives.

Last but not least, NordSIP is proud to sponsor another game changer, the IRRI Survey, in collaboration with Extel Survey and SRI-CONNECT. NordSIP will have the privilege to announce in exclusivity who made it into the “Nordic Cut“, results that will be tailor-made for the Nordic market. If you haven’t already, check out the survey and vote. It’s never too early to make your voice heard.

This weekend, change your game!
