    AP7 Opens Tender for ESG and Voting Services

    Stockholm (NordSIP) – On November 3rd, the default Swedish public pension fund AP7 launched a procurement process regarding ESG screening analysis, engagement proxy research and voting.

    According to the tender posted on the EU supplement of the Official Journal of the EU, the Swedish public pension fund is looking to contract with a company to supply it with norms-based screening, controversial weapons screening, cannabis screening, Paris climate agreement screening, engagement, semiannual bespoke reporting and ad-hoc support. The supplier is also expected to provide custom proxy research, custom proxy voting and ad-hoc support.

    Tenders can be submitted regarding one area or two areas in this procurement. According to the Tender document, the estimated value of the services during the past two years is about SEK5 million. The procurement will be carried out in accordance with the provisions for open procedure in the Swedish Public Procurement Act (2016:1145) (Sw. Lagen om offentlig upphandling). In such a procedure, tenders are accepted without prior negotiation. The Agreement will be awarded to one tenderer for each tender area.

    The services are expected to be contracted for six years and the tenderer must maintain the tender until at least April 9th, 2021. Applications must be submitted by December 3rd, 2020.
