Hardly a week has passed since the announcement that Ulrika Hasselgren is joining Arabesque as their Head of Nordics and Head of Europe for Corporates and Sovereigns, and she is already back in the news. In a press release issued on March 11, fintech company Fundrella reveals that Hasselgren is joining their Board of Directors. The move is in line with Fundrella’s efforts to strengthen the company’s sustainability expertise.
Established in 2019, Fundrella is a fund platform used by Nordic professional investors for automated reporting as well as analytics, market intelligence and competitor benchmarking. The company recently launched a new ESG solution, customised to their clients’ preferences.
Given Hasselgren’s extensive experience in sustainability and ESG, the expectations for her contribution to the company’s further strategic development run high. “I couldn’t be happier,” exclaims Wava Bodin, Founder and CEO, Fundrella. “With Ulrika Hasselgren joining our board, we can continue to push the boundaries and create useful and innovative tools for the fund industry.”
The feelings seem mutual, according to the press release, where Hasselgren is quoted: “I am excited to join the Fundrella Board of Directors and look forward to support Wava Bodin and the team’s exciting journey to establish a strong foothold in the Nordics utilizing technology and collaboration to help fund companies’ report efficiently to investors including the alignment with sustainability and ESG matters.”
Hasselgren’s new portfolio of sustainability-related undertakings seems to be growing steadily. Just last month Nordic infrastructure investment company Infranode announced that she is joining them as a senior advisor in order to further strengthens the focus on sustainability.
“Sustainability has always been at the core of Infranode and everything we do. We are pleased, and proud, that a strong sustainability expert like Ulrika chooses to join our team to continue to develop this important part of our business. Ulrika will support in realizing Infranode’s ambition of being the preferred long-term and responsible owner of sustainable infrastructure”, says Johan Tiselius, Infranode’s Head of Sustainability.
