Länsförsäkringar Announces 2022 Responsible Fund Finalists

Stockholm (NordSIP) – For the third year in a row, Länsforsäkringar will award the best responsible funds on its platform for their climate-related activities. On February 24th, the Swedish insurance provider announced the four finalists for the 2022 competition. BNP Paribas Global Environment, Carnegie Strategy Fund, Enter Return and Wellington Global Impact have been shortlisted by Länsforsäkringar.

“Responsible investments are a central part of our fund offering. With this competition, we want to draw attention to responsible investments, engage with existing and potential customers and show concrete and good examples where savers’ capital is used to contribute responsibly, not least for the climate,” says Jim Rotsman (Pictured), Product Manager, Länsförsäkringar Fondliv.

The Länsförsäkringar Alliance consists of 23 local and customer-owned regional insurance companies and the jointly owned Länsförsäkringar AB. A jury of representatives from the regional insurance companies in Gothenburg and Bohuslän, Skaraborg and Uppsala has examined a total of 14 contributions and selected the four finalists based on clarity, innovation and effect.

Länsförsäkringar requested that the fund companies send in applications highlighting any responsible climate-related activity or investment within a fund. The activity or investment must be completed in 2021 and the fund company must be able to show what effect it has had.

Voting is open to all visitors until April 29, 2022 and the winner will be announced in early May 2022.
