Stockholm (NordSIP) – Following the recent appointment of Nicklas Lemon to the role of Cheif Experience Officer (CXO), the Green Asset Wallet announced the addition of four new members of its executive council, whose contributions are expected to help the company expand, via their expertise in finance, sustainability, fintech and innovation.
Joining the Executive Board are Åke Iverfelt, previous CEO of Mistra, Anna Lena Wretman, CEO of Fundler, Fanny Wallér, Senior Advisor Communications and Sustainability, and Mats Holmfeldt, Chairman and Founder of Findec. Cecilia Repinski remains in the Board as CEO and Founder of Green Assets Wallet.
“Having these exceptional minds on our Board is beneficial for us at this point of our journey, as we scale up the Green Assets Wallet platform to the next level, ” Repinski says. “The coming months are crucial for us, as we take investor impact reporting to the next level. Establishing a good governance structure with this Board before we scale up further was a priority for us.”
Mats Holmfeldt, appointed Chairman of the Green Assets Wallet Board, describes himself as a fintech and green finance venture catalyst. He has been active in banking and finance for over 25 years, with senior executive positions and Director of the Board assignments, at SEB, Swedbank, Intrum and Resurs Bank. In recent years, Holmfeldt also took engagement as an Advisor and Board Member with a series of fintech start-ups. “I have been watching Green Assets Wallet grow fast since its launch in 2019. This Board will give the company the necessary oversight and strategic support. Above all it will provide the integrity this company deserves,” Holmfeldt adds.
Anna-Lena Wretman, CEO of Fundler, has over 25 years of experience, including as the CEO of Swish, Sweden’s largest mobile payment system and as an Advisor to the Swedish Central Bank. “Building bridges between the different participants in the fixed income ecosystem is what Green Assets Wallet does. There is a big need for a one-stop-solution that makes it easy to shift capital towards impact for investors,” Wretman says.
Åke Iverfelt, was previously CEO of Mistra, the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research “We need to encourage the dialogue between all parties in the sustainable finance system. This also includes regulators in the EU for example,” Iverfelt adds.
Fanny Wallér, is a Senior Advisor in Communications and Sustainability and a professional Board Member, with over 20 years of experience as a C-level executive at Länsförsäkringar, Intrum and SEB Retail Banking. “I am looking forward to leveraging my experience for Green Assets Wallet during this crucial period of global growth and to help with their product-fit-to-market journey,” Wallér explains.
The Board held their first Meeting on 17th February 2022 to discuss their respective roles and to formulate a strategic roadmap for Green Assets Wallet in the coming year.
