Capital Dynamics Launches Future Essentials III

Stockholm (NordSIP) – Capital Dynamics, an independent global private asset management firm, announced on March 22nd the launch of Capital Dynamics Future Essentials III LP, a Responsible Investment oriented, global private equity multi-manager program. The Fund is managed by a multinational investment team in Europe, North America and Asia and invests in high-quality, limited access private equity primary funds, particularly mid-market buyout and growth capital funds, with additional allocation to co-investments and secondary transactions.

“Capital Dynamics’ deep experience and long-term relationships with private equity sponsors strongly positions us to identify the long-term winners in global Mid-Market Private Equity. It is our core belief that mid-market companies can benefit tremendously from the knowhow of private equity owners, and we expect high-quality, specialized private equity managers to outperform in these volatile times. We are particularly optimistic about our Future Essentials strategy given its focus on mid-market buyout and growth businesses where leverage levels are low and ample opportunities for operational value creation exist, including through the implementation of Responsible Investment best practices,” said Mauro Pfister, Managing Director at Capital Dynamics, investment manager and product coordinator for Future Essentials III.

The Future Essentials strategy makes investment commitments through its access to propriety deal flow across primaries, secondaries and co-investments – enabled by Capital Dynamics’ more than three decades of experience and long-term relationships with over 350 private equity fund managers globally. The Fund targets private equity managers across Europe, North America and Asia that demonstrate a proven track record of operational value creation through strategic development of portfolio companies and robust sales growth. The Fund is classified as Article 8 under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and has dedicated a portion of investible assets towards sustainable investments.

Future Essentials III is open to investments from accredited investors in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, the UK, Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark. The second vintage of Capital Dynamics’ Future Essentials strategy closed in May, 2022 at its target size of €300 Million.
