Tokyo (NordSIP) – Christoffer Jönsson, CEO of Sweden’s Folksam LO Pension is also Chairman of the Global Unions’ Committee on Workers’ Capital (CWC). Attending #PRIinPerson 2023, he says: “Although the general emphasis on climate is important and understandable, I would also like to see a much greater focus from the investment community on the social aspects of sustainability such as workers’ rights and all the elements needed for a just transition.” Workers’ capital in the form of pensions amounts to $38 trillion across the OECD countries.
