Leveraging Stewardship in Private Markets

“When it comes to sustainability, there is a lot happening in private markets right now and I’m really glad that the program of PRI in Person this year acknowledges this development,” says Anna Follér, Head of Sustainability at the Sixth Swedish National Pension Fund (AP6). “Lifting the private market perspective on stewardship in particular is important, given the crucial role that private capital can play in accelerating the sustainable transition through its ownership model’s inherent ability to induce change.” Follér herself contributed to this later the same day, as a panellist in one of the break-out sessions on leveraging the stewardship opportunities of private markets.
