Stockholm (NordSIP) – The Third Swedish National Pension Fund (AP3) has appointed Jonas Thulin as its new Chief Investment Officer. Thulin is currently Head of Asset Management at Erik Penser Bank and will start his position at AP3 by 4 January 2024 at the latest.
“Jonas Thulin is passionate about asset management and the financial markets, has worked with a wide range of different asset classes and has extensive knowledge about sustainability. Jonas is a good and communicative leader with excellent skills for further developing our asset management,” says Staffan Hansén, CEO of AP3.
Prior to Eric Penser Bank, Thulin was Head of Asset Allocation, Head of Global Alpha Strategy and Head of Strategy and Research at Nordea. He has also been a lecturer and supervisor in economics at Stockholm University in Sweden and the University of Queensland in Australia. Thulin will succeed Pablo Bernengo, who will leave AP3 by 7 January at the latest to join Alecta.
