After 5 years as Senior ESG Manager at Denmark’s EUR 53.7 billion pension provider PKA, Louise Aagard Jensen is taking on a new role at Neuberger Berman on 1st February 2024. Commenting to NordSIP on her first day with the US asset manager, Jensen said: “In my previous role I had the privilege of working with sustainability initiatives across a wide investment portfolio with various asset classes for five years. It was incredibly rewarding to strive for positive change and align investments with ESG principles.”
Jensen believes her experience so far will stand her in good stead to succeed in the new role within the Global Sustainable Equity team in The Hague, The Netherlands: “Now, transitioning to my new position as a Senior Engagement Analyst within a listed equity team at investment firm Neuberger Berman, my focus will shift towards engaging with listed companies on enhancing their sustainability ambitions. I’m excited to leverage my expertise in ESG integration to foster meaningful dialogues with companies and drive impactful change. While I anticipate challenges inherent in this new role, I’m eager to tackle them head-on and contribute to advancing sustainability practices within the investment landscape.
Jensen obtained an MSc. in International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School and began her career working as a Business Analyst and Project Manager of several business and market development projects within Denmark, Ghana, Brazil, and Argentina.
