Robeco Grows Nordics Team

Share post:

Stockholm (NordSIP) – Rotterdam-headquartered global asset management firm Robeco has expanded its Nordic client coverage with the appointment on 1st March 2024 of Jesper Jul Nielsen as Institutional Director within the Nordic Sales team.  Nielsen joins Robeco from US asset management firm Fisher Investments, where he spent almost a decade covering European high-net-worth and institutional clients.  In his new position, Nielsen will be responsible for a broad range of institutional and wholesale clients across the Nordic region.

Commenting on the new hire Stefan Laszlo, Head of Nordics Sales at Robeco said: “I am delighted that Jesper has joined Robeco, as he brings over a wealth of experience covering Nordic institutional clients.”  Sustainability themes will remain a priority for the firm in the Nordics, according to Laszlo, with a focus on its ongoing Climate High Yield and Climate Credits offer, given strong demand so far in the Nordic region for those products, combined with Robeco’s Global SDG Credit strategy.

Robeco is also one of the first asset management firms to implement an open-source policy for its in-house sustainability data, as Laszlo explains: “In 2024 we will continue with our impact materiality SDG score that measures how companies contribute to societies and nature.  With our Sustainable Investing (SI) Open Access Initiative, which we expect to further build on in 2024, we collect feedback to improve the quality of sustainable investing data and by doing so we can help investors to integrate SI in their own approaches.”
