Stockholm (NordSIP) – Sweden’s Sustainable Investment Forum (Swesif) has is looking for an Executive Director, to represent the organisation and lead day-to-day operations.
Swesif is a forum of asset owners and asset managers that aims to spread and raise knowledge about sustainable investments. The forum also offers associate memberships to other organisations that promote Swesif’s purpose in their activities. Swesif became a member of Eurosif in late 2022.
“Over time, Swesif has been a relevant forum for gathering expertise around sustainable investments. While the scope of the organisation early on mainly has been to share knowledge and raise awareness, I believe that Swesif is in a position to take a more proactive role going forward,” Jennie Ahrén, Chief Sustainability Officer at Tundra Fonder and Swesif Chair, tells NordSIP regarding her vision for the future of the forum.
The Executive Director (ED), an experienced professional fluent in both Swedish and English, will work closely with Swesif’s board. They will take operational responsibility within Swesif, provide strategic support to the board, and implement its strategy.
“I believe that to succeed in this role, the applicant should have a strong interest in sustainable investments. We are looking for an ambitious individual with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and create productive partnerships. A person that can navigate the sustainable investment landscape and take different perspectives into consideration,” Ahrén explains.
