In the last couple of years, I’ve come to see my mission as impact investing become mainstream. This is what we have done internally, between BlueOrchard and Schroders Group, and externally with our clients and partners, but also how I am approaching this year’s edition of the GIIN Forum.
I want to nurture the next generation of impact investors and show that it is possible to generate attractive financial returns while having a positive impact on people and the planet. We’ve recently published two reports on impact investing describing the five-year journey of integrating the expertise of BlueOrchard into Schroders Group and our expertise in sustainability and impact in our private markets division, Schroders Capital. Through case studies and detailed performance metrics, both reports showcase how we are delivering impact with our listed and private market portfolios.
During the two sessions I will host at the 2024 GIIN Forum I will share the insights, challenges and opportunities we have found in the hope of helping the attendees understand how they can have a real impact on the ground.
