JRS Asset Management, established in 2007, is a Stockholm-based wealth management firm specialising in family office services for high-net-worth individuals. The company offers a broad range of services, including financial advisory, asset management, brokerage, and legal consultation. JRS emphasizes transparency by selecting competitive financial instruments from the broader market instead of managing proprietary products.
The firm’s activities are divided into three main areas:
- JRS Private Banking: Provides tailored wealth management services.
- JRS Funds: Focuses on fund investment management.
- JRS Sports Management: Offers financial services targeted at clients in the sports industry.
In December 2019, Söderberg & Partners, a leading financial advisory group, acquired a 49% minority stake in JRS Asset Management. This strategic partnership aimed to enhance Söderberg & Partners’ offerings in wealth management by leveraging JRS’s expertise in serving affluent clients. The acquisition highlighted Söderberg & Partners’ interest in strengthening its family office and wealth advisory services.
Details about JRS Asset Management’s specific investments are not publicly disclosed.
According to the firm’s sustainable investment policy, JRS Asset Management incorporates ESG factors into its investment and advisory services, aligning with the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). The firm emphasizes responsible investment practices and maintains a remuneration system that promotes sound risk management, including sustainability risks. Compensation is determined based on both financial and non-financial criteria, ensuring alignment with sustainability objectives.
However, JRS currently does not consider the principal adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors, citing the extensive nature of the regulations and a lack of reliable data for certain financial instruments. The firm plans to reassess this position as the regulatory framework and market practices evolve, with a review scheduled for 2024.
Despite this, JRS has an internal process for identifying sustainable investments and integrates sustainability risks into portfolio management and advisory services upon client request, based on available data.
