Maximizing Impact of Article 9 Funds: Closing the Gap in Sustainable Investments for Nordic Investors
March 16, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
EU Regulatory authorities, through the EEA Agreement, are leading the global transition to a more sustainable economy via multiple linked regulatory initiatives, all seeking to manage capital flows toward sustainable investments. But are these regulations succeeding?
Clarity AI’s research team has analyzed Article 9 funds to understand the extent that their investments can be considered “sustainable” and the findings show that some are falling short of expectations. With all of the recent downgrades from Article 9 to Article 8, what does it mean for the investment landscape?
In this webinar, we will dig into our research findings, including:
- Drivers of significant harm in article 9 funds
- Reasons why fund providers are struggling to categorize funds
- Regulatory challenges specific to the Nordic region
- What might come next for regulators and fund providers
