Established in 1945, Sampension is a Danish pension fund managing industry-wide pension schemes primarily for white-collar employees in municipalities and the central government. It is Denmark’s third-largest pension manager. The Sampension Group comprises the parent company, Sampension Livsforsikring A/S, and its subsidiary, Sampension Administrationsselskab A/S, which provides administrative services to life insurance companies, pension funds, and pension companies, as well as general asset management services. Sampension is owned equally by workers’ organizations and employers’ organizations, reflecting its roots in the Danish labor market.
