Fulfilling our mission
NordSIP’s (the Nordic Sustainable Investment Platform) mission is to inform and inspire institutional investors so they can take better decisions as the world shifts towards a more sustainable global economy. By directing much needed capital to solving global challenges such as climate change and increased inequalities across the globe, investors can fulfil their sustainability goals while being at the forefront of new investment opportunities in a transitioning market.
What are the NordSIA?
These annual distinctions will reward the efforts of institutional investors who have shown the most significant progress in 6 different categories. Many innovative Institutional Investors tend to “fly under the radar,” operating independently without advertising their internal efforts. Their industry peers may therefore be missing out on valuable examples of best practice, especially when it comes to innovation within sustainable investing. By showcasing these efforts, we hope to help raise overall market standards and accelerate progress in these crucial capital shifts.

Qualifying organisations
Any organisations making decisions on how to allocate capital to investments, either directly or via external managers qualify for nominations. This includes pensions schemes, insurers, fund selectors, foundations, family offices as well as government-related or faith-based entities. Advisors may also qualify provided they have an independent mandate to make discretionary allocation decisions on behalf of an institutional asset owner.

NordSIP would like to invite anyone to consider recommending a qualifying organisation for one of the categories above. Once we have been able to verify whether the recommended organisation is indeed qualified, we will reach out to them and ask them to fill in their nomination form.
You will also be able to help us identify the most controversial current topic in sustainable an impact investment by submitting your idea via the form. We will then endeavour to find the keynote speaker best able to tackle the winning topic during the award ceremony.
