LocalTapiola is a Finnish mutual group of companies owned by its customers, offering a comprehensive range of services including non-life, life, and pension insurance, as well as asset management, real estate, and financial services. Serving private individuals, farmers, entrepreneurs, corporate clients, and organisations, LocalTapiola operates through a network of 19 regional mutual insurance companies and approximately 200 offices across Finland. The group employs around 3,400 people and serves nearly 1.6 million customers.
A key subsidiary of the group, LocalTapiola Asset Management Ltd, provides asset management services to a diverse clientele, including institutional investors, companies, organisations, and private individuals. As of 2021, the company managed assets totalling approximately EUR 11.9 billion, with LocalTapiola Funds accounting for EUR 4.6 billion.
